This webinar provides an overview of the model's capabilities. The model captures existing economy, energy, and environment (E3) linkages that allows researchers to assess energy and climate policy specifically at the state level in India. However, being a dynamic macro-econometric model, it can potentially be used for analysing a much wider range of policy issues.

A special session on E3-India included four papers dealing with context, content, and prospective use of the model. This annual conference attracts economists, government officials, engineers, and managers with interests in input-output analysis and associated modelling techniques.

We hosted a session based on four papers addressing distinct aspects of policy modelling, the E3 model framework, applications, and tool introduction.
